I am very grateful to the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) Union for the Note of Appreciation sent this week to me and other guests and participants at the High-Level African Women’s Leadership Forum: Advancing Women’s Political Leadership in Africa, that took place the margins of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York on Saturday, 27 September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT/New York) .
Hope that by next year my Complete Maize Meal Cooking Encyclopedia: Including The Staple International Strategic Policy is adopted by several Agriculture Ministries, especially in Africa, and that my social and science theory models are pushed through , even if via activism such as the one carried by me vocalising the SDG’s implementation.
Of particular importance are my models ‘ Electricity Sustainability and International Security’ and ‘ From Dependency to Independence’.
I contacted several Governments such as the UK Government, the Nigerian Government, The Liberian Government, who have chosen to ignore my asks for a meeting and to show the applicability of my models.
Hope this changes in a nearby future and I am given the opportunity to show up and perform at the highest level as my sisters give me and many other women to do via forums such as the AWLN.
Will we have less unanswered door knocks in the future? I trust with African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) commitment to train the future generations and cultivate space for leadership our coming leaders will not face my problems such as closed doors, unheard knocks and lack of acknowledging my authorship and contribution to the scholarship of international policy that truly reflects all of us and truly answers those knocks that are not for hearing and welcoming but might be for something quite more despairing such as the right to be, the right to exist and the right to live with full dignity – because someone opened that door!
Thank you ❤️
